Relax with the guys and celebrate winter at Common Ground:
Friday, March 2 - Sunday, March 4, 2012
Every year at Camp Common Ground, men gather together for a few hours and swap stories and sentiments while lounging in Lewis Creek. In past years, we've had a "Women's Weekend" and the time has come for a men's weekend. This winter is the first with our completed, winterized Eco-Lodge, and we're inviting the guys in our community to come gather for a special, men-only retreat. Come relax, play outside, and...well, relax!
During the day, there will be planned outdoor activities for those who wish to participate. Common Ground's
700-acre site is full of hiking trails perfect for trekking around on snowshoes. There will be a supply of snowshoes for men to borrow, or feel free to bring your own. If you have skis or skates, stick those in too. Our Eco-Lodge has a cozy Common Room where you can come in from the cold and enjoy the woodstove. If winter sports aren't for you, there will be planned indoor activities as well. Men are also welcome to simply hang out, read, and play games. In the evening there will be group activities and plenty of time for bonding.
All participants will stay in our new Eco-Lodge and enjoy delicious meals cooked for you. Coffee and tea (and hot chocolate!) will be available throughout the day and evening.
The weekend program fees - listed on our registration form - include all meals, guided activities, and lodging. Download the registration form here. Please call our office (1-800-430-2667) to register or for more information. A winter wonderland awaits!
